Altmetrics, Citations and Impact Factors |
Altmetrics is a new method for measuring the impact of your academic paper on the (online) social community, and forms a complement to the regular citation based impact metrics such as the impact factor.
Altmetric.com and impactstory.org - for instance - both provide tools to track social media impact.
In September 2014 the Citatie-analyse-summary was published by the Walaeus Library. Here you can find extensive information on the Impact Factor, the Hirsch Index en the Median Impact Factor per discipline.
Check the webpage Citaties / Impact Factor for more information. See also the presentation of the Walaeus Library on Altmetrics. |
